Muthukumar, Vairamuthu, AR Rahman, Vetri Maaran etc. The movie was remade in Hindi as "Baaghi" (2015), in Kannada as "Saaikaran" (2016) and in Telugu as "Chenchu Helicopter" (2017). Thuppakki is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by A. R. Murugadoss and co-written by Murugadoss, C.V. Kumar and Santhosh Sivanandam.
